The president of the Women’s Forum of the European People’s Parties and former member of the EP, Doris Pack, stated that there was lobbying against the Democratic Party in Brussels and Washington.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Pack said that some people are undermining the processes of the Democratic Party.
According to her, the reaction of the democrats was quick after Sali Berisha was expelled from the DP and she underlined that it is something positive, the fact that now most of them are united.
“I cannot speak with much competence about this situation, but as you know, I like Albanians and Albania and I expect a good future in the European Union. I can say that the autocratic regime in Albania is systematically alarming. I know there has been lobbying against the Democratic Party, in Berlin, Brussels and other places, I’m sure it’s the same in the United States.
I can say that they are people who are undermining the processes of the Democratic Party. The former leader of the Democratic Party has made many mistakes, but after being expelled from the ranks of the Democratic Party at the request of an ambassador, the party was asked to expel him and the reaction was very quick. It is something positive that the majority within the ranks of the Democratic Party is united”, she emphasized

Presidentja e Forumit të Grave të Partive Popullore Europiane dhe ish-deputetja e PE-së, Doris Pack deklaroi se ka pasur lobime kundër Partisë Demokratike, në Bruksel dhe Uashington.
Në një intervistë për Euronews Albania, Pack u shpreh se disa njerëz po minojnë proceset e Partisë Demokratike.
Sipas saj, reagimi i demokratëve ishte i shpejtë pasi Sali Berisha u përjashtua nga PD dhe nënvizoi se është diçka pozitive, fakti që tanimë shumica e tyre janë të bashkuar.
“Nuk mund të flas me shumë komptetenca për këtë situatë, por siç e dini, më pëlqejnë shqiptarët dhe Shqipëria dhe pres një të ardhme të mirë në Bashkimin Evropian. Mund të them se regjimi autokratik në Shqipëri është sistematikisht alarm. Unë e di që ka pasur lobime kundër Partisë Demokratike, në Berlin, Bruksel dhe vende të tjera, jam e sigurt që është e njëjta gjë edhe në Shtetet e Bashkuara.
Mund të them që janë njerëz që po minojnë procese të Partisë Demokratike. Ish-lideri i Partisë Demokratike ka bërë shumë gabime, por pasi u përjashtua nga radhët e Partisë Demokratike me kërkesë të një ambasadori, iu kërkua partisë që ai të përjasahtohej dhe reagimi ishte shumë i shpejtë. Është diçka pozitive që shumica brenda radhëve të Partisë Demokratike është e bashkuar”, theksoi ajo.
