Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta said in his party’ Convent today that the Albanian capital Tirana and its Mayor Erion Veliaj are symbols of the elimination of the local power, of corruption and destruction of a city for the sake of dark interests.
The Freedom Party will run joint candidates with the Democratic Party in the next year’s local elections. “The Freedom Party and the united opposition knows that will face a monist, totalitarian regime that has usurped all powers but one: the power of freedom”, said Meta.
”Tirana and its Mayor are symbols of the elimination of the local power, of corruption and destruction of a city for the sake of dark interests, like it was the case with the criminal demolition of the National Theater. Tirana has turned into a trap of concrete, stress, traffic and endless waste of time, where corruption kills the lives and health of children, senior citizens and all the citizens”.
“Today, more than ever, Tirana needs change and the victory of the opposition and its program for the rescue of Tirana and all municipalities of the country”, said the former President of Albania.
