The ILLYRIAN WOMEN were very Emancipated. In fact, while the Roman or Greek women who had no rights, Illyrian Women had the same rights with men and sometimes more rights than men (like in legal questions).
Illyrian Women could be Politicians, Artists, Commanders of Armies, Pirates, Actresses, and they could attend very important Illyrian Schools (the same as the ones attended by Julius Cesar, Emperor Augustus and others).
They got involved in Banquets and could decide to not get married.
