While the Albanian government and the town hall of Tirana (as a disgusting mini-replica of the former) are quick to adopt solidarity measures by naming the street where the Russian embassy is located “freeUkraine”, they continue, with unprecedented tyranny, arrogance, and police brutality to crush democracy, the rule of law, and fundamental rights and freedoms of Albanian citizens.
In addition to dealing with all the frustration, depression, and hopelessness that come with a devastating earthquake, global pandemic, and international conflict, Albanian citizens have to face systematic aggression stemming from a couple of extremely ignorant and mediocre men, who, for quite some time now, have lost complete sense of reality.
I hereby, in anger, wanted to express my most sincere love and solidarity to all my brave and bright sisters and sisters (yes, I meant to say “sisters” twice), who actively resist such oppression. I say “in anger” not only because of what I mentioned above but also because I think I will forever be a guy with a pen.
Anyhow, it is refreshing and inspirational to see these young sisters in action.
Thank you for your priceless service! Your demonstrations are heard and impactful and you are not alone in the struggle!
