Kosovo Premier Albin Kurti said it is unthinkable that Kosovo will tolerate threats to its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. In his address before the General Council of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (Kurti’s party the Self-Determination Movement), the Prime Minister drew attention to what Serbia did yesterday and what Russia is doing today.
“We thought that with the end of wars Serbia caused in the Balkans Europe found permanent peace, but Russia today is doing what Serbia did yesterday”, said Kurti.
“These two nations have historic, cultural ties to one another in the lines of autocracy, despotism, aggression, and genocide.
Kosovo is doing its part by siding immediately and unconditionally with the nations that condemned Russia and supported Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity”.
“Let everybody know that, when we demand that Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity be respected, we can’t even think that we may ever tolerate threats to Kosovo’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Those are always and anywhere indisputable for us”.
