Berisha: Soros is a serious threat to our national security

Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha repeated his waning against US billionaire George Soros today calling him a threat to the country’s security.

Soros’ son Alex Soros attended the Open Balkans Summit in Ohrid, North Macedonia, last week and Berisha said he is the real master of the initiative that goes against Albanian national interests and European aspirations.
The Democratic Party chairman was suspicious also due to the fact that no one has read anything about the Open Balkans project, as everything has been kept hidden.

Which Albanian has read any article from the Open Balkans Treaty? How is it possible to delegate one’s trust and logic to someone that for every word articulates a lie?” asked Berisha. “Aleksandar Vučić said there are 720 pages of this treaty, all kept secret”.

Alex Soros supports the Open Balkans. He is present in every meeting of the leaders. Soros is a serious threat to our security as much as the project that he supports. George Soros is the tyrant of the free speech. Three brilliant analysts, which I respect very much, Ed Joseph, Janusz Bugajski, and Daniel Serwer, made some excellent analyses against the Open Balkans after Lavrov’s declarations of support. But, they said nothing against Soros, because he is a tyrant of the free speech.

This factor can no longer be ignored, his hands will reach further. This is Soros’ hand, because the United States does not favor Russian-Serbian projects in the region. I invite you to continue this battle, because it is extremely important”, Berisha addressed to journalists and political pundits.
