“Jo të gjithë engjëjt banojnë në parajsë, disa ecin në tokë ashtu si ju”.

"Unë do t'i bëja ambasadorit Hill një pyetje: a po e shtyn Beogradin që ta njohë Kosovën? 

Nuk besoj se e bën. 
Ndoshta e kam gabim, por fjalët e tij dje dhe më parë më tregojnë se ai është plotësisht në anën e Beogradit. 

Unë nuk “E di edhe pse nuk del dhe komenton se sa mirë po shkon Kosova, apo sa bashkëpunues kanë qenë, sa fleksibël kanë qenë?”.

William Walker dhe Christopher Hill janë njohur që nga viti 1998 .

Por ish-shefi i Misionit Verifikues të OSBE-së në Kosovë, William Walker, nuk e njeh më ambasadorin e tanishëm amerikan në Beograd, Christopher Hill, me të cilin në vitet 1998-99, ai ishte në Kosovë, ai duhej të bashkëpunonte ngushtë në të njëjtën anë dhe synim.

Walker është shumë i befasuar nga deklaratat e fundit të Hill-it, kur tha se presidenti i Serbisë, Aleksandar Vuçiq, “shkoi mirë i përgatitur” në Bruksel dhe se “Serbia i bëri detyrat e shtëpisë”.

“Është shumë për të ardhur keq që ambasadori i SHBA-së në Beograd duhet të bëjë ato komente se cila palë po bën më mirë në arritjen e marrëveshjes”, thotë Walker.

"Hill është duke shkuar përtej përshkrimit të punës këtu. 

Unë gjithashtu mendoj se komenti i tij për Zërin e Amerikës se ai nuk e di nëse SHBA mund ta llogarisë Albin Kurtin si aleat dhe fakti që Escobar duhej të dilte dhe ta korrigjonte ose ta thoshte një tjetër mënyrë, më thotë se Hill ka kaluar aty ku nuk duhet të jetë”, vazhdon Walker.

Nuk besoj se e bën. 

Ndoshta e kam gabim, por fjalët e tij dje dhe më parë më tregojnë se ai është plotësisht në anën e Beogradit. 

Unë nuk “E di edhe pse nuk del dhe komenton se sa mirë po shkon Kosova, apo sa bashkëpunues kanë qenë, sa fleksibël kanë qenë?”.
Walker tregon edhe për takimin që ka pasur disa javë më parë me zëvendësndihmës sekretarin amerikan të Shtetit, Gabriel Escobar.
“Escobar në një farë mënyre (në bisedën tonë) e ngjyrosi këtë që, po, sigurisht që ka zhgënjime, dhe me një ndjenjë zhgënjimi që duhet të punoj me Albin Kurtin. Megjithatë, ai nuk tha se gjërat janë keq, por Ai nuk tha që janë të mira, por unë mendoj se marrëdhëniet tani janë të acaruara. Për fat të keq shpesh dëgjoj komente të tilla."

CAN'T RECOGNISE CHRISTOPHER HILL ANYMORE (TOO)

William Walker and Christopher Hill have known each other since at least 1998, but the former Head of the OSCE Verification Mission in Kosovo, William Walker, no longer recognises the now-American ambassador in Belgrade, Christopher Hill, with whom at the time of the war in Kosovo in 1998-99, he had to cooperate closely on the same side and goal.

Walker is very surprised by Hill's recent statements, when he said that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, "went well prepared" to Brussels and that "Serbia did its homework".

"It is very unfortunate that the US Ambassador in Belgrade has to make those comments about which side is doing better in reaching the agreement", says Walker.

"Hill is going beyond the job description here. I also think his comment to VOA that he doesn't know if US can count Albin Kurti as an ally, and the fact that Escobar had to come out and correct him, or put it another way, tells me that Hill it's way past where it should be", continues Walker.

"I would ask Ambassador Hill a question: is he pushing Belgrade to recognize Kosovo? I don't believe he does. Maybe I'm wrong, but his words yesterday and before, shows me that he is completely siding with Belgrade. I don't even know why he doesn't come out and comments on how well Kosovo is doing, or how cooperative they were, how flexible they were?".

Walker also tells about the meeting he had a few weeks ago with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Gabriel Escobar.

"Escobar in a way (in our conversation) coloured this that, yes, there are disappointments of course, and with a certain feeling of frustration in having to work with Albin Kurti. However, he didn't say that things are bad, but he didn't say that they are good either. But I feel that relations are strained now. Unfortunately I hear often these kind of comments."
