Vili Minarolli Appreciates Urim Gjata’s Contribution to the Democratic Party and the Diaspora

Former Albanian MP and diplomat, Vili Minarolli, has publicly expressed his gratitude for the contributions of Urim Gjata to the Democratic Party (PD) of Albania, both within the country and in the diaspora. In a recent statement, Minarolli highlighted the important role Gjata has played in building and strengthening the structures of the PD over the years.

“Urim, my dear friend, you have given everything to the PD for many, many years, and the PD should recognize your contribution. I am grateful for our collaboration over the years in Pogradec, Tirana, and especially in the creation and leadership of the PD branch in Thessaloniki,” Minarolli wrote, describing their cooperation as an important part of the Democrats’ journey.

Urim Gjata has been one of the figures who has continuously supported the Democratic Party, contributing not only to local structures in Albania but also in the diaspora. The creation and leadership of the PD branch in Thessaloniki, home to a large Albanian community, is among the notable achievements associated with his name.

On this occasion, Minarolli’s appreciation is not limited to the political aspect but also extends to personal warm wishes: “I wish you joy with your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!”

This message from Minarolli is seen as a testament to the mutual respect between the figures who have built and strengthened the Democratic Party over the years, while also emphasizing the irreplaceable role of the Albanian diaspora in supporting political forces in the homeland.

Vili Minarolli vlerëson kontributin e Urim Gjatës në Partinë Demokratike dhe emigracion

Ish-deputeti dhe diplomati i njohur shqiptar, Vili Minarolli, ka shprehur publikisht mirënjohjen e tij për kontributin e dhënë nga Urim Gjata në Partinë Demokratike të Shqipërisë, si brenda vendit, ashtu edhe në emigracion. Në një reagim të fundit, Minarolli thekson rolin e rëndësishëm që Gjata ka pasur në ndërtimin dhe forcimin e strukturave të PD-së ndër vite.

“Urim, miku im i dashur, edhe ti i dhe gjithçka PD për shumë e shumë vite dhe PD duhet të vlerësojë kontributin tënd. Unë të jam mirënjohës për bashkëpunimin me ty për shumë vite në Pogradec, Tiranë dhe veçanërisht në krijimin dhe drejtimin e degës së PD në Selanik,” shkruan Minarolli, duke e cilësuar bashkëpunimin e tyre si një pjesë të rëndësishme të rrugëtimit të demokratëve.

Urim Gjata ka qenë një nga figurat që ka dhënë ndihmesë të vazhdueshme për Partinë Demokratike, duke kontribuar jo vetëm në strukturat lokale në Shqipëri, por edhe në diasporë. Krijimi dhe drejtimi i degës së PD-së në Selanik, ku jeton një komunitet i madh shqiptarësh, ka qenë një ndër arritjet e rëndësishme që lidhen me emrin e tij.

Me këtë rast, Minarolli nuk e kufizon vlerësimin e tij vetëm në aspektin politik, por shpreh edhe urime të përzemërta personale: “Të uroj veç gëzimet me fëmijët, me nipër e mbesa plot!”
